Pam grew up feeling quite out of place in this world. She was blessed to have a great family and live a good life. Yet from an early age, she was very aware that something important was missing. Later on, as a teen, she was introduced to Jesus and His wonderful truth changed her life. He was that missing piece she had been looking for.
As the years went by, her Christian growth seemed to come to a stand still. Pam was just as sure about her faith but couldn't help but feel it was lacking. Where was all the peace and joy the Bible promised for believers? Why was she anxious so much of the time? And why did all the plans she made to serve God not work out? God was trying to get her attention that some changes needed to be made. Never one to be easily persuaded, Pam just continued to go the direction she thought was right.
Finally as an adult, a wife, and a mother of four, she just couldn't keep doing life as she had been doing it. She asked for help from her pastor and began to realize how she really needed to submit everything in her life to God and allow Him to be the Lord of her life as He deserved. Around this time, Pam began to journal more and write all she was processing through this transition. She has been writing ever since, passionate about challenging others to trust God fully.
Pam's first book, Seeking the King: Learning to Live as a Child of God is both a record of the changes in her own life and a summary of many of the important lessons she has learned (usually the hard way). She would love to hear from you about your own experiences in coming to know and love God more.
Pam and her husband Mitch live in Southwest Michigan. They have four adult children, only one still at home from time to time. They enjoy being part of their church's worship team and attempting to train their adopted collie, Jasper.
